Debut Shoes + Pavillion Pit Stop Fashion Show

Oh...no no...I'm not selling these babies...
Its my FIRST DEBUT SHOES!
I'm quite happy with how it turned out though...
Kinda fierce yet easy to wear...ha!

Now this is what it looks like on real models...

Look, decent isnt it? Its one size bigger on the models though...
























For all I realise, its actually a "PRIVATE EVENT"
Luckily I did not go around inviting people to go and look at my shoes and end up trying to peek at the escalator or something.

















And I dress kinda lousy for a red carpet event for goodness sake.
Red was the dress code...well, F1 ma....
At the entrance there was even a fire red Ferrari okay?

















And as a member from the company, of course I has the right to go backstage didn't I? Lol...
And I feel priviledged...

Now its time for some clothes...and models...

For tomorrow I might ask the shoemaker to make me one my size...lol
Its reasonable to have your first shoe for yourself isn't it?

I think its absolutely reasonable...ha!

Pavillion Pit Stop Sneak Preview

As I have mentioned before, I will have my first shoes on the runway in pavillion in April...
and the even just took place a couple of hours ago...in well, pavillion of course. lol

But for its very late and i'm very tired squeezed in the crowd trying to take photos...
I can only postpone the "real" post...but never the less, I'll have you temporarily entertained with the sneak peek like this...i know its not much but please bear with me...haha























Also, I would like to thank Ashlei and JT for being in Pavillion to support me in my first shoe debut!

Introducing Sandra Backlund...
not you average fashion designer...
I am so in love with her stuff...

the (i dont know if i can call it garment) coz some is just like handicraft to me...lol

I like her sculptural garments, be it knitted, crocheted, or glued together...






























































































































































































Not only that, as you can see from the pictures, its not from the same collection.
And I like how she named he collection...ha!

Some are called Ink Blot Test, Perfect Hurts, Dont Walk, Blank Page, Last Breath Bruises and etc...

I was blown away by the collection name before i could see the designs...hahahah

I'm really impressed with the knit ones....i wish i have the patients to knit...
and i'll leave it during my retirement...lol

Anticipation...

In April, I'll be able to attend a fashion show in Pavillion...(well, my company participated)
and it will be my very first time having my shoes being paraded in catwalks by models...
I am very much anticipating how it'll turn out.

In May, I'll also be able to go on a trip to Hong Kong to do some material sourcing...
And meeting suppliers and such...most importantly, its the first time i'm going on a work trip. First time going to Hong Kong, first time going with colleagues and all...

Of course, pictures will be up when the event eventually take place. :)

Earth Hour 2009

By right, this is a fashion blog...
But i cant help promoting this cool event up here...

This Saturday 28th March 2009, Earth hour went global by encouraging everyone in every nation to off their lights for an hour to tell the whole world that our home is now sick. ( and we are trying to make an effort )
This movement is started by Sydney and I think its great effort to save the earth, to unite everyone in the whole world with just a simple action which is...by turning off the lights.

I hope everyone will have a great time to re-discover the world and the people you love in the dark. For saving the earth and for unity.


Here's actually a little thought that are somehow related...

1. Buy glow in the dark fabric pen or gel...
2. Scribble on your t shirts like writing (support earth hour! or something)
3. Parade on the street with your friends!
